Aleksei Fomkin returned to the permanent exhibition of the museum the names of George Balanchine, Wacław Niżyński, Rudolf Nureyev and Mikhail Baryshnikov who were students of the Leningrad ballet schools but whose names were forbidden to mention in the Soviet times. In 2012 Aleksei Fomkin built up a new museum concept and completely renovated the museum.”
