“Aleksei Fomkin is well-known in the professional community as a unique organizer and researcher of choreographic education, holding a Ph.D. in Pedagogical Sciences and an associate professorship. He developed and implemented an innovative higher education model for ballet dancers with a nine-year training period, culminating in a bachelor’s degree. This model was realized at the Vaganova Ballet Academy from 2007 to 2013”.

“During his tenure as Artistic Director of the «Moskvich» Cultural Center in Moscow, he implemented the creative project «DanceHouse Moskvich,» an innovative platform for dance education for a wide audience, and opened the additional education center «KC Moskvich.»
