Activity of a psychologist

As a psychologist and psychotherapist, I work within the psychodynamic framework and help individuals address issues arising in their personal, family, or professional lives. Psychological work involves engaging in contact and communication, which aids in understanding the underlying causes of problems and finding solutions. If a person is unable to understand the reasons behind their failures, conflicts, or doubts, or if there is a personality trait that hinders them from living a fulfilling life and they can’t change it on their own, this is a reason to seek psychological help. Psychological assistance is also warranted for specific health issues, such as headaches, allergies, cardiovascular diseases, some skin conditions (like eczema or psoriasis), sexual dysfunctions, and some types of infertility, among others.

Together, we work towards understanding the psychological causes that trigger illnesses or complicate their course, explore the underlying issues and conflicts in personal, family, and social life, and aim to improve overall well-being and emotional state. This collaborative process is always full of discoveries and insights and can bring relief, though psychotherapy is not always an easy or thrilling journey; you may encounter difficult emotions, and you will be able to share all these feelings with your psychologist. In our sessions, no topic is off-limits; you can talk about anything you wish with the assurance of complete confidentiality. There will also be established rules and boundaries that will support better communication between the psychotherapist and the client.
